This opening session sets the foundation for the 26-27 season of the Bloom Leadership Circle, which brings women together to reflect, connect and grow alongside one another.
Before we lead our businesses, our teams, our families or what comes next, we lead ourselves. We’ll step out of the momentum of everyday life to reflect:

We're your hosts, Angie and Dana,
the co-founders of Thrive & Rise Academy. We specialize in leading transformative learning experiences, and we are proud to introduce the Bloom Leadership Circle—our dedicated community for leaders and aspiring leaders. Our approach combines decades of in-system leadership experience with deep expertise in psychology and organizational strategy.
About Angie Mercier, M.Ed.
Angie brings a unique dual-lens to leadership development. As a former Superintendent with deep roots in the K-12 system, she understands the high-stakes pressure of school and system roles intimately. She combines this lived experience with her expertise as a certified Executive Leadership Coach and background in Wellness. Angie is passionate about helping women integrate wellness not as a luxury, but as a high-performance leadership habit required to lead with clarity and purpose. Angie is the host of the podcast “Boldly Becoming with Angie” where she and her guests speak truth about leadership in 2026.
About Dana Liebermann, Ph.D.
Dana brings a unique, people-centric perspective rooted in her background in Psychology, former senior leader in 2 school boards and current senior leader at the YMCA of Hamilton|Burlington|Brantford. She is an expert in leadership development and organizational transformation, skilled at fostering collaborative and thriving environments. As an experienced facilitator with Superintendent qualifications, Dana designs engaging learning experiences that empower leaders and drive meaningful, systemic improvement.
