How we're really protecting our energy (and 2 invitations!)

Hello!
Welcome to our new bi-weekly newsletter.
We're deep into November, and we can feel the collective energy drain as everyone pushes toward the holidays. It's that all-too-familiar "survival mode," and we want you to know, we are right on this journey with you.
We've been talking a lot about protecting our energy, and we wanted to get real about our own struggles. We're not perfect; we're practitioners. And we've both been working on our own energy-draining habits.
Angie: "For me, my biggest energy drain is grabbing my phone first thing in the morning. Before my feet even hit the floor! It immediately pulls me into a reactive state of scrolling and emails, wasting my most alert and creative energy of the day."
Dana: “For me, it’s been being intentional about actually making myself a healthy lunch — not just everyone else in the house and not just scrapping things together. It’s shocking how easy it is to prioritize other people’s needs over my own! I’m working on treating my own fuel with the same care I give everyone else’s.”
It's not about perfection; it's about intention.
Your First Invitation: A Gift for You
The first step to changing these habits is reflection. That's exactly why we created our brand new "26 before 2026" Reflection Journal.
It’s a simple, powerful, and free tool with 26 prompts (including the ones we're using!). The first section is designed to help you audit your energy, release what's draining you, and build real momentum. More sections to be released every two weeks!
This is our gift to you. It’s the perfect 10-minute reset to help you move from 'surviving' to 'thriving' before the new year. And when you grab the journal, you also receive an invitation to our WhatsApp 26 before 2026 group. Here we provide you with daily coaching along the way, and you get to connect with other women who are on the road to thrive in 2026!
Your Second Invitation: Let's Move & Mingle!
The second step? Connection.
A year ago this month, the two of us went for a walk. We talked about our passions, our wellness, and the gaps we saw for women in K-12 leadership. That walk was the birth of Thrive & Rise!
We want to celebrate our one-year birthday with you... by going for a walk!
You are warmly invited to our very first "Move and Mingle"!

Angie & Dana
