Snow angels, holiday paradoxes, and a birthday gift ❄️
Hello, welcome to our December 2025 newsletter
We are writing this still smiling from ear to ear after our very first Move & Mingle Saturday morning.
If you weren’t there, picture this: A group of women—who started the morning as strangers—trailblazing through ankle-deep snow on the beautiful grounds of Langdon Hall.

There was no agenda. No presentation. Just warm beverages, fresh air, pure connection, quite a bit of snow! We climbed hills, we laughed, we had a minute of quiet in the woods, and yes… there was even a massive group tree hug and some spontaneous snow angels!

Seeing our vision come to life was emotional for us. In a world that is so often about "doing," this was a morning entirely about "being."
As we wrapped up with rosy cheeks and full hearts, the words our “mover’s and minglers” used to describe the morning said it all:
Connected. Grateful. Inspired. Rejuvenated. Energetic. Calm. Joy.

Join Us for the Next Move & Mingle!
We loved it so much (and heard so many of you saying "when is the next one?!") that we are already planning round two! We want you to experience this magic for yourself.
We will be gathering again on Saturday December 27th @ 10am. Location to be announced soon.
If you are craving connection and a reset in nature, we would love to see you there. It’s free, it’s informal, and it’s exactly what the soul needs.
📖 What we are currently reading!
Speaking of building a solid foundation, we are currently diving deep into Brené Brown’s "Strong Ground."
We are absolutely loving how this work speaks to the paradox of the season we are about to enter. As leaders, December often asks us to hold two opposing truths at once.
It is a season of joy, but often a season of exhaustion. It is a time of connecting with others, but also a time where we crave solitude. It is a time of giving generously to our communities, while desperately needing to replenish our own reserves.
Brené’s work reminds us that standing on "Strong Ground" isn’t about choosing one over the other. It’s about having the courage to navigate the tension of these paradoxes without losing ourselves in the process. It’s about staying grounded in our values even when the whirlwind of the holidays picks up speed.
We can’t say too much yet... but we have something very special brewing for the first week of January that involves this book, our community, and a whole new way to grow together.
We are planning a Free Masterclass to kick off the new year! If you are curious to know more about "bibliocoaching" (it might be a new term for you!), you are going to want to keep an eye on your inbox. Stay Tuned!
Happy Birthday to Us (And a Gift for You!) 🎂
Finally, we are continuing to celebrate the One Year Anniversary of Thrive & Rise!
We launched this dream because we knew women in leadership needed a different kind of support—one that prioritizes wellness, true joy in life, and connection.
To celebrate, we have opened up the Bloom Leadership Circle with a special Anniversary Promo!
This is your invitation to secure your spot in a truly restorative experience designed specifically for you. The Bloom Leadership Circle is more than a series of events; it's a dedicated network for growth and learning where you can show up as your authentic self.
What you’ll gain in the Circle:
-
Deep Learning & Growth: Three sessions focused on high-performance wellness, creating a life-aligned career, and turning intention into sustainable impact. You’ll walk away with actionable strategies to meet you where you are at, not just theory.
-
An Unrivaled Retreat Feel: Escape the fluorescent lights and constant demands of the system you are working in. Each session is held at the breathtaking Cambridge Mill, offering a serene, elegant backdrop where you can truly exhale.
-
Exceptional Network & Guests: Learn from incredible leaders like Colleen James in February and build a rich network of women—from across different boards, sectors, and roles—who become your ongoing support system.
-
Connection & Community: This is a space curated by us, Angie and Dana, to ensure authentic, judgment-free connection. You will find your peer mentors and feel the powerful energy of women who "get it."
-
Fantastic Food: Of course, no retreat is complete without fueling your body and mind! Enjoying the delicious, thoughtful catering at the Mill is just part of the restorative experience.
Use Code: ONEYEAR15 (Valid for 15% off any session or the full series!)
This is our way of saying thank you for being part of our journey. We would love to have you lock in your spot and continue this journey of growth and connection with us this February.
